Why?

It turns out being at the mercy of random food bloggers isn't a great way to keep your favorite recipes around long term! Sometimes you just have to own your own content. Admittedly, many of these are inspired by other recipes, either online or from cookbooks. I'll try to provide attribution when I can. But at least one site has opted to remove one of my favorite recipes. So I wanted to preserve what I can here, where at least I'll be able to keep the files even if my server goes down!


Tofu Japchae

Ingredients

  • 1/2 package sweet potato noodles/vermicelli

  • 1 cup long grain rice
  • 2 cups water (or more, if the rice dries out while cooking)
  • 1 heaping tablespoon Better than Bullion chicken
  • Olive Oil (for browning the meat)

Pork Chops with Mushrooms and Feta

Ingredients

  • Pork Chops (2-4 chops)
    • Typically, we cut them in half to make them thinner. You can also smack em a couple times to thin them out further.
    • Aim for around 1/4"-1/2" thickness.
