Pork Chops with Mushrooms and Feta

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Season each pork chop with salt, pepper, cumin, and garlic powder on each side.
  2. Heat some of the olive oil in a small frying pan over medium heat.
  3. Add sliced mushrooms and toss until coated in oil.
  4. Add some salt, pepper, cumin, and garlic powder to taste.
  5. Saute mushrooms until they are browned on all sides.
  6. Remove from heat.
  7. In a larger pan, heat the remaining oil on medium-high heat.
  8. Sear the pork chops. (around 3 min on each side).
  9. Lower the heat to medium-low or low. Cook the pork chops for around another 5 minutes on each side until they are cooked through.
  10. Transfer pork chops to a baking sheet.
  11. Add the mushrooms and feta cheese, piling each pork chop high with toppings.
  12. Add mozzarella over top of the pork chops.
  13. Place the pork chops in the oven on Broil to melt the mozzarella cheese (5 min or so). Enjoy!
