Tuna and Noodles
Recipe from Heidi Merfeld
Ingredients:
- 1 box pasta (shape of choice; bowties or rotini are best)
- 1 can tuna
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- Velveeta or Kraft singles
- 4 tbsp butter
- Milk
- Celery salt
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Salt
- Pepper
Directions:
- Cook pasta to package instructions, then drain.
- Return pasta pot to the cooktop and turn heat to medium.
- Melt butter, then return drained pasta to pot and stir to coat all noodles with butter.
- Add cream of mushroom soup, and stir. Add seasonings.
- Use fork or butter knife to break up tuna into small pieces, and add to pot.
- Begin slowly adding cheese and stirring to combine. Add milk to thin the sauce as needed.
- Use flavor as your guide. When pasta is sufficiently cheesy and at the appropriate consistency, serve!
